ALSO KNOWN AS INTRODUCTION TO SUN 73 TAI CHI
Derived from Sun style tai chi, which includes many qigong principles, this form emphasizes weight transfer from foot to foot, opening of the joints, the power of the core, posture, and deep breathing. As the Center for Disease Control states, tai chi is one of the best things one can do for fall prevention.
Fall Prevention Tai Chi is easy to learn and a great place to start your tai chi practice--it can be done standing or seated.

Fall Prevention Tai Chi includes has three parts--we call them Level One, Level Two, and Level Three. Each part adds a new level of complexity. Students find all the parts of our form intriguing, beautiful, and satisfying.
When done together, the three segments total 40 named movements (which includes many repeats of certain movements). Once learned, the full set takes only about 4-5 minutes to complete.
Fall Prevention Tai Chi is a wonderful introduction to tai chi in all its styles. Many people find that once they are comfortable with it they want to study other forms. The natural progression could be learning Sun 73 forms, from which our Fall Prevention Tai Chi derives. But for a taste of something somewhat different Yang 24 forms is a wonderful choice.
